Housed along Miami’s Biscayne Corridor, North One 10 restaurant is a culinary gem and the brainchild of Chef Dewey LoSasso and his wife Dale.

Opened in 2004, North One 10 met rave reviews from The Miami Herald and Sun-Sentinel, including being named “Best New Restaurant” in Miami New Times and Chef LoSasso named “Great Chefs” in Ocean Drive magazine.

Chef LoSasso started his food career at an early age, flipping pizzas as a child in his family’s home pizza kitchen in New Jersey. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Chef LoSasso moved to South Florida in the early 1980s where he moved from the training grounds of area restaurants to the stewardship of the Foundlings Club, a private club in Miami Beach. Here, under the wing of philanthropist Micky Wolfson, Chef LoSasso attracted notice for his original cuisine, which he dubbed "Florida Progressive."

With Wolfson, Chef LoSasso traveled extensively, conducting restaurant research, visiting vineyards and spending time in kitchens throughout the world. Returning from these ventures, he turned the Foundlings Club kitchen into a culinary laboratory, crafting cutting edge cuisine born of global influences and ingredients. During his tenure as executive chef/ beverage director, Chef LoSasso’s cuisine garnered many awards (including "Best Private Club" for numerous years), putting the club on the map as one of the best dining experiences in South Florida.

After a turn as Donatella Versace’s personal chef and food event coordinator, Chef LoSasso went to work for China Grill Management (CGM), where he created the “Tuscan Steak” concept with restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow, serving as executive and concept chef for Tuscan Steak in Miami. Chef LoSasso later relocated to New York to open CGM restaurants there. Still under the aegis of the CMG team, Chef LoSasso then served as executive chef at New York’s 950-room Hudson Hotel.  After three years in New York, Chef LoSasso decided the time was right to re-enter the Miami fray and opened North One 10.

Chef LoSasso has met much media spotlight, including being named "Hot New Chef" in South Florida Magazine as well as featured on the "Smith Shepherd's Fox News Report," ABC's "South Florida Today" in Miami, Time Out Magazine and Nations Restaurant News.  Chef LoSasso hosted music recording star Usher's album release party in 2001 and has served as guest chef at the Central Coast Wine Classic and Justin Winery in California, Mitchelton Winery in Australia and the Gran Gotto Restaurant and the Hotel Astor in Italy. This year, Chef LoSasso received Food Arts' Sterling Silver Emerging Taste Maker Award.

Chef LoSasso and his wife Dale live in Miami Shores with their two daughters.
